About Concord
Concord is the southern most town in Essex County. The northern part of Concord was once called Bradleyvale. The area was originally part of Avery's Gore, changed to the name Bradleyvale in 1803, for U.S. Senator Stephen Row Bradley who was instrumental in providing the U.S. Senate with historical data that led to Vermont being an independent republic. In the town of Concord there are five post offices, five churches, and three railroad stations and has a population of 1,143 people. There are currently many issues involving the towns high school and the whereabouts of the schools principal Karl Stein. All of these issues will be addressed at this years town meeting.
